CBDT: Aadhaar Mandatory For ITR From July 1, As SC Ordered Only Partial Relief - (12 Jun 2017)

Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has clarified that for filing of tax returns and for obtaining Permanent Account Number (PAN), Aadhaar was compulsory, after Supreme Court upheld the requirement introduced in Finance Act, 2017.
