#GST: Council Freezes Rates For About 1,200 Items, 12-18% GST Rate For Most Products - (19 May 2017)
GST Council has approved rates for 1,211 item, rates of leftover six categories are yet to be finalized. Most FMCG items to become cheaper, Small cars, White goods will face higher tax, Food grains exempted, Cereal gets zero rate, 5% tax on coal.
