Centre Issues Clarifications Regarding Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017 - (14 Apr 2017)

Ministry of Labour and Employment, while releasing a set of clarifications w.r.t. Maternity Act'17, has said that Act is applicable to contractual or consultant women employees, as well as to women who are already on maternity leave at time of enforcement of Amendment Act.
