Karnataka HC Allows Petition filed by Infosys Regarding VAT Liability on Software “Implementation” - (17 Sep 2015)

Karnataka HC while giving relief to information technology service providing companies such as Infosys Ltd., has declared that such companies are not liable to pay value added tax (VAT) for software “implementation” process, which happens after installation of customized software.
