Supreme Court Grants Promotion Relief to Employee Denied Relaxation, Calling it Discrimination - (14 Apr 2026)

SERVICE

SC set aside a Madhya Pradesh High Court ruling that denied promotion to a cooperative society employee, holding that refusal to grant relaxation in educational qualification, when similarly placed employees were given it, was discriminatory and violated Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution.
