J&K&L HC: Gold Voluntarily Given to Customer is 'Entrustment'; Theft Excluded from Insurance Cover - (29 Dec 2025)

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court held that when insured property is voluntarily handed over on trust, it amounts to entrustment, and any dishonest loss arising from it is excluded under the insurance policy, even if the act may legally constitute theft.
