Delhi HC: Pressuring Husband to Cut Ties With His Family Amounts to Cruelty; Ground For Divorce - (18 Sep 2025)

Del. HC observed that a wife's persistent pressure on her husband to sever ties with his family constitutes cruelty and is grounds for divorce. Additionally, public berating of the husband at his workplace along with repeated humiliation and verbal abuse also amounts to mental cruelty.
