NCLAT: Unless Amendment Application Filed, Authority Can’t Suo Motu Amend Date of Default - (04 Apr 2025)

INSOLVENCY

NCLAT New Delhi bench has held that unless an amendment application is filed, the adjudicating authority cannot suo moto amend the date of default mentioned in the insolvency application as doing so would amount to exceeding its jurisdiction.
