Insurance Company to be Liable Even if Insurance Policy Not Transferred - (17 Sep 2024)

MOTOR VEHICLES

Allahabad HC has stated that even if the insurance policy of vehicle is not transferred, the insurance company would become liable under the policy to the transferee of the vehicle. Therefore, the intention of the legislature is to make the insurance company liable immediately.
