SC: Accused Already in Custody Can Apply for Anticipatory Bail in Another Case - (10 Sep 2024)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has held that an accused who is already in custody for an offence can seek anticipatory bail in another case as custody in one case does not have the effect of taking away the apprehension of arrest in a different case.
