Karnataka HC: Aim of Preventive Detention is to Ensure Peace in Society - (16 Jul 2024)

CRIMINAL

Kar. HC has observed that women, children & aged have become vulnerable sections at hands of hooligans. Sensible sections of society live in anxiety, insecurity & larger leverage has to be conceded for ensuring peace & tranquility in society. Measures like preventive detention are aimed at this.
