SC: Can’t Presume Sexual Assault Cases Will Only be Effectively Handled by Women Officers - (09 Jul 2024)

CRIMINAL

SC while expressing reservation regarding a petition that sought handling of sexual assault cases only by women officers, has remarked that it cannot be presumed that sexual assault cases will only be effectively handled by women officers and male officers will not effectively fulfill their duties.
