Cal HC: Not Operating in Totalitarian State, Govt. Can’t Exercise Blanket Power Over Every Instit. - (14 May 2024)

CONSTITUTION

Cal HC has held that we do not operate in a totalitarian state and it cannot be held that Government has blanket power over any and every institution or undertaking operating under the Sun within territory of India for any purpose, unless so given specifically in Constitution or any specific law.
