Supreme Court: Entering Into Sale Agreement With Minor is Void and Unenforceable - (27 Feb 2024)

CONTRACT

Supreme Court has held that per the Contract Act, 1872 it is clearly stated that for an agreement to become a contract, the parties must be competent to contract, wherein age of majority is a condition for competency, hence a sale agreement with minor is void and cannot be enforced.
