Kar. HC: Banks Do Not Have the Power of Retaining Passport or OCI Card of Accused as Security - (17 Jan 2024)

Karnataka High Court has held that banks do not have the authority to withhold the passport or OCI cards of an accused, even if, the accused has surrendered them voluntarily.
