Bom. HC: Can’t Interpret GST Act to Deny Right to Carry Trade And Commerce by Citizens - (20 Feb 2023)

GOODS AND SERVICES TAX

Bombay High Court while observing that constitutional guarantee is unconditional and unequivocal and must be enforced regardless of shortcomings in the scheme of GST enactment, has held that GST enactment can’t be interpreted so as to deny right to carry on trade & commerce to any citizen.
