Madras HC: Can’t Deny Maternity Benefits Merely on Technicalities - (16 Jan 2023)

Madras High Court while observing that welfare legislation like Maternity Benefits Act can’t be denied merely on the basis of technicalities, has held that woman is not a pendulam and can’t be forced to swing between motherhood and employment, as maternity benefit relates to dignity of a woman.
