Delhi HC: Non-Examination of 4 Year Old Rape Victim Not Fatal To Prosecution - (14 Jun 2022)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court has upheld life sentence awarded to accused for committing rape on a 4 year old minor girl within his close family. The Court observed that non-examination of the victim cannot be fatal to the case as she being only 4 years old was not in position to give a statement.
