ITAT, Ahmedabad: Shares at Face Value by Amalgamated Company Not Covered Under Income Tax Act - (16 Apr 2021)

DIRECT TAXATION

Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Ahmedabad has ruled that the Shares at ‘face value’ by the amalgamated company to shareholders in pursuance of scheme of amalgamation not covered under clause (viib) of Section 56(2) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
