ITAT, Chennai: Wife Eligible for Capital Gain Deduction Towards House Purchased in Husband’s Name - (27 Feb 2020)

DIRECT TAXATION

Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Chennai has held that the wife is eligible for deduction under Section 54 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for the investment in a house in the name of her husband.
