Cal. HC: To Prevent Arbitral Awards from Becoming Meaningless They Should be Made Real - (19 Apr 2024)

ARBITRATION

Calcutta High Court while hearing an application under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, has held that serious attempts must be made by Courts to ensure that arbitral awards are enforced and are not rendered illusory or meaningless.
