Madras High Court: RTI Cannot Be Invoked When Alternate Remedies Available - (05 Jun 2017)

Madras High Court has held that Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005 cannot be invoked at first instance, if an effective alternative remedy is available to obtain such information.
