Delhi HC Grants Protection to 19-Year-Old Transgender Who was Brought to India from California - (23 Sep 2015)

Delhi HC has granted protection from arrest to transgender, on her plea alleging that her father is an “influential businessman” with “deep roots in Uttar Pradesh”, had “activated the state machinery” to deprive her of her “fundamental rights to life, liberty and education”.
