SC Suspends Gujarati Film Release, Saying that Homosexuality Akin to Social Evil for Some - (21 Sep 2015)

SC while admitting appeal by Gujarat against Gujarat HC order allowing entertainment tax exemption to a Gujarati film that depicts “sufferings of a homosexual” prince from the state, has observed that section of society may perceive homosexuality as akin to “social evils” and suspended film release.
