Maternity Bill, 2016 Receives Prez Assent - (29 Mar 2017)

Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Bill, 2016 which entitles women working in organised sector to paid maternity leave of 26 weeks, up from 12 weeks has received assent from President of India.
