Rajya Sabha Passes Employees Compensation Bill; Enhances Compensation For Death, Occupational Injury - (23 Mar 2017)

Rajya Sabha has passed Employees Compensation (Amendment) Bill 2016 which enhances compensation in case of death and occupational injuries and makes it obligatory for employers to inform their workers about their rights.
