Lok Sabha Passes Finance Bill’ 17; Aadhaar Must For IT Returns, PAN Card - (23 Mar 2017)

Lok Sabha has signed off on Finance Bill 2017, ratifying Government’s proposals to make Aadhaar mandatory for filing of income-tax returns and for obtaining and retaining Permanent Account Number (PAN) from 1 July and capped legal cash transactions at Rs. 2 lakh.
