NGT Imposes Ban on Immersion Idols Made Up of Plastic, POP in Yamuna in Delhi - (17 Sep 2015)

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has banned immersion of idols made from non-biodegradable material like quick-setting gypsum plaster, also known as Plaster of Paris, or plastic in Yamuna river.
