Lok Sabha Passes Maternity Bill, Leaves Raised to 26 Weeks - (10 Mar 2017)

Lok Sabha has passed Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Bill, 2016 which entitles women working in organised sector to paid maternity leave of 26 weeks, up from 12 weeks.
