Madras HC Seeks Centre Explanation Over TN Drought Relief Fund - (09 Feb 2017)

Madras High Court has directed Centre to explain by March 9 steps it had taken with respect to a plea made by State government to sanction ?39,565 crore from National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) to provide relief to farmers since all 32 districts in State had been declared drought-affected.
