Supreme Court Directs HP Govt to Pay Rs 1 Crore to Electrocuted Boy - (06 Feb 2017)

Supreme Court has awarded a compensation of over Rs one crore to a 12 year-old boy, whose both arms had to be amputated after he came in contact with a high tension wire in an agricultural field and held Himachal Pradesh Government vicariously liable for negligence.
