Delhi HC: Hindu Marriage Is Sacrament, Not A Contract - (30 Jan 2017)

Delhi HC, while rejecting plea of a woman to be declared as legally wedded wife of a government servant, now deceased, so that she can get a job on compassionate grounds, has observed that ‘marriage, under Hindu Law is a sacrament and not a contract.
