Banking

The Reserve Bank of India has been conducting consumer surveys on economic conditions, income spending and prices and other criteria since 2010. It recently released its survey, for the period between Quarter 2 of 2014-2015 and Quarter 1 of 2015-2016, covering six metropolitan cities and about 5,400 respondents. The various indices clued mixed expectations of consumers: perceptions on current and future incomes showed a declining trend, while employment expectations showed positivity.
