Supreme Court Seeks Govt Reply Over Vacancies in ITAT - (24 Jan 2017)

Supreme Court has sought Government's response on plea seeking appointment of President and Vice Presidents in different Benches of Income Tax Appellate Tribunals (ITAT) across the country claiming that proceedings at quasi-judicial bodies have come to "grinding halt".
