Supreme Court: Judge Can’t Close Criminal Case by Simply Recording Its End Results - (09 Jan 2017)

Supreme Court, while maintaining that accused are “not lone receivers of justice” and that victims of a crime must be treated equally, has ruled that ‘a judge cannot shut a criminal case by simply recording end result of conviction or acquittal’.
