Supreme Court Directs CBI Probe over ‘Unnecessary’ Purchase of Aircrafts - (06 Jan 2017)

Supreme Court has asked CBI to look into allegation of “unnecessary” purchase of 111 aircraft and leasing of some other by Air India between 2004 and 2008 when Congress-led UPA was in office.
