Supreme Court: No Prior Consent of Landowners Needed to Lay Overhead Power Lines - (30 Dec 2016)

Supreme Court, while removing roadblocks in reaching electricity to every village, has ruled that no prior consent of landowners was required to lay overhead power transmission lines and erect towers to support these lines.
