SC Seeks Explanation on Plan for Spending Rs 27,000 crore on Welfare of Construction Workers - (07 Sep 2015)

Supreme Court has summoned Union Labour Secretary to appear in person and explain plans to spend the money collected through a cess, irked over dis- satisfactory reply of government on proposed use of a whopping Rs 27,000 crore meant for welfare of construction workers.
