Supreme Court Defers Hearing of Election Petition against Sonia Gandhi - (27 Oct 2016)

Supreme Court has deferred hearing of a plea challenging Sonia Gandhi's Election from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha Constituency in 2014 on the issue of her citizenship and for allegedly playing communal card to garner Muslim votes.
