Supreme Court Upholds ‘Equal Pay for Equal Work’ Principle for Temporary Employees - (27 Oct 2016)

Supreme Court has held that temporary employees who have been hired by Government Departments and Agencies across country on contractual basis, are entitled to wages at par with permanent employees and principle of 'equal pay for equal work' must be followed.
