SC Rejects Plea Challenging Constitutional Validity of Section 295A of IPC - (04 Oct 2016)

Supreme Court has rejected AAP functionary Ashish Khetan’s petition challenging constitutional validity of Section 295A of Indian Penal Code, under which he has been booked by Punjab Police for hurting religious sentiments by comparing AAP’s Punjab manifesto to Guru Granth Sahib.
