Delhi HC Suggests Electronic Communication of FIRs - (22 Sep 2016)

Delhi HC, while observing that delays by police in sending FIRs before area magistrate were fatal to prosecution case, leading to acquittals in dangerous crimes, has suggested that FIRs should be communicated electronically and directed District Judges in the city to hold consultation with police.
