Bombay HC Junks Application of MCOCA in Assault Case Between 2 Groups - (13 Sep 2016)

Bombay HC has ruled out application of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in assault case between two groups and said that the stringent provisions of the MCOCA cannot be applied in a case of assault by two groups against each other.
