Madras HC Issues Notice to Jayalalithaa - (19 Aug 2016)

Madras HC, on a petition filed by G. Pravina, a voter from the RK Nagar constituency, who alleged booth capture and bribing voter, has issued notice to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and Election Commission officials over validity of her victory in the May assembly election.
