Delhi High Court: 24-Week Limit Alone Cannot Restrict Medical Termination of Pregnancy - (27 Oct 2026)

LAW OF MEDICINE

Delhi High Court held that pregnancy termination cannot be decided solely by the 24-week limit under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act. Courts must consider each case’s facts, including the woman’s age, circumstances of pregnancy, medical opinion, and her rights and interests.
