Karnataka High Court: Advocates Practising Without Clearing AIBE May Face Criminal Action - (21 Oct 2026)

CRIMINAL

Karnataka HC held that advocates practising without clearing the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) within two years may face criminal liability under the IPC and Advocates Act. It also directed the State Bar Council to create an automatic system to flag advocates continuing to practise illegally.
