Supreme Court: HC Registry Should Exclude Court Vacations When Listing Cases After Fixed Days - (19 Oct 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court clarified that if a High Court directs a case to be listed after a fixed period and that period overlaps with court vacation, the Registry should ordinarily exclude the vacation while calculating the listing date, subject to applicable rules.
