SC: Student Fees Cannot Be Increased Mid-Course Except in Exceptional Circumstances - (15 Oct 2026)

Supreme Court held that self-financing institutions cannot ordinarily raise professional course fees midway, except in exceptional cases like unforeseen expenditure. It stressed that fee certainty is vital as families often rely on savings or education loans.
