Delhi High Court: Providing Email Services Does Not Make Google a Public Functionary - (12 Oct 2026)

Delhi High Court held that Google does not perform a public function merely by providing or suspending email services. It said writ jurisdiction under Article 226 depends on the nature of the function performed by a private entity, not its size or reach.
