J&K&L HC: Fake Driving Licence Does Not Exonerate Insurer If Driver Has a Valid Licence - (05 Oct 2026)

MOTOR VEHICLES

J&K and Ladakh High Court held that an insurer cannot avoid liability merely because the offending driver possessed a fake licence when the driver also held a genuine and effective driving licence valid on the date of the accident.
